Website speed and technical SEO
A slow website costs you visitors and search rankings. I find what's holding it back, fix it and measure the result before and after.
Every quote is individual, based on the scope.
What you get
- Speed and Core Web Vitals audit (LCP, INP, CLS)
- Image, font and script optimisation
- Better page loading and rendering
- Technical SEO: indexing, metadata, sitemap, canonical URLs
- Structured data for search engines
- Measurements before and after
Why speed matters
The longer a page takes to load, the more people leave before they see it. Google also measures speed and stability through Core Web Vitals and takes them into account in rankings. A fast website is better for visitors and search engines alike.
How I work
- I measure the current state on the important pages, not just the homepage.
- I find the biggest bottlenecks: images, fonts, third-party scripts or a slow server.
- I fix what has the biggest impact, starting with the quickest wins.
- I measure again and send a before-and-after comparison.
Technical SEO
A search engine first has to find, crawl and understand your website. I check that the right pages are indexed and have meaningful titles, descriptions, headings and canonical URLs, and I add a sitemap and structured data.
I focus on the technical side of SEO that content and links rely on. If a website struggles technically, even the best copy won't help it.
FAQ
- How do I know my website is slow?
- The quickest check is Google's PageSpeed Insights. If the mobile results are in the red or orange range, there's room to improve.
- Does the whole website need rebuilding to be fast?
- Usually not. Targeted changes to images, fonts and scripts bring most of the improvement. If the foundation is the problem, I'll say so and suggest what to do.
- Can you guarantee the top spot in search?
- No, nobody can honestly guarantee that. Technical fixes remove what's holding the website back, and I measure their effect.
