Connecting your website to other systems
Your website passes orders, contacts and payments to the tools you already use. Less copying by hand, fewer mistakes.
Every quote is individual, based on the scope.
What you get
- CRM and email tool integrations
- Orders sent to your accounting or inventory system
- Payment gateways and online payments
- Syncing products, prices and stock
- A custom API for your other systems
- Error logging and retrying failed transfers
What can be connected
Most tools companies use have an API or can import and export data. An integration makes sure information moves on its own as soon as it's created, and nobody has to retype it.
- CRM systems
- Accounting and inventory systems (ERP)
- Payment gateways such as Stripe
- Email and marketing tools
- Your internal systems via API
How I build integrations
First I map which data should go where and when, and what should happen when the other system isn't responding. Transfers run in the background, errors are logged and failed attempts are retried, so no order or contact gets lost.
I build integrations so one side can change without rewriting the whole website. If you switch accounting systems in a few years, only that connection changes.
FAQ
- Can you connect my website to the system we use?
- If the system has an API or can import and export data, usually yes. I check the specific options at the start, before the proposal.
- Can an older website be connected too?
- Often yes, depending on how it's built. I look at the code first and suggest the simplest route.
- What if the other system stops responding?
- The transfer is logged and retried once the system responds again. You'll hear about errors that don't resolve themselves.
