Why a website needs maintenance
A website isn't finished on launch day. The libraries and systems it runs on get bug and security fixes, browsers change and so do the website's needs. Without regular care a website ages, slows down and becomes easier to abuse.
Taking over a website from an agency
When an agency or developer moves on, I take over the website with its history. First I secure access, backups and documentation, then I review the code and infrastructure and write down what's fine, what needs fixing and what can be built on. Only then do I start changing things.
How we work together
We agree on the scope of care based on how important the website is for your business and how often it changes. You can send changes as they come up and you always know what I'm doing on the site.

- Websites built on common technology such as Next.js, React, Vue.js, Symfony, PHP or Node.js. For unusual setups I first assess whether a takeover makes sense or a rebuild is the better deal.
- How much does maintenance cost?
- Every quote is individual, based on the scope and how fast you need me to respond.
- What do you need to take over a website?
- Access to hosting, the domain, the source code and the admin. If some of it is missing, I'll help you get it back.
